Bengaluru Airport City is set for major expansion with a 2 million sq ft business park, a 775-room hotel development (Vivanta 450 rooms and Ginger 325 rooms), and a planned 10,000-seat concert arena, as reported by Economic Times Hospitality. The project is part of the broader Airport City ecosystem being developed by BACL near Kempegowda International Airport.
The development will integrate office spaces, hospitality, R&D centres, GCCs, retail, and event infrastructure, supported by upcoming metro connectivity.
Such large-scale airport-led infrastructure is expected to strengthen North Bengaluru’s economic activity and employment base, particularly around the airport corridor.
Key benefiting micro-markets include Devanahalli, Bagalur, KIADB Aerospace Park, Shettigere, Chikkajala, and the NH-44 airport belt.
